Shadow Archive is a public research interface. The investigation workspace may store notes, pinned items, viewing history, and UI preferences in your browser's localStorage so the workspace can persist between visits on the same device.

Do not store secrets, credentials, private personal data, or sensitive case material in local browser notes. LocalStorage is not encrypted and is controlled by the browser profile using this site.

Server-side access depends on the configured deployment provider, database, and API environment variables. Production secrets must be configured only in the hosting environment and never committed to the repository.
